Let's pretend part deux!!!

I'm at the fringe element tatdays Friday and Saturday.  If you are coming make sure to say hi. If you are some where else then let's pretend you're here by doing the following:
1. Tat something
2. Eat a wrap (the traditional Fringe tatday lunch) or chocolate
3.  Say "eh" at the end of your sentences
4. Toques are optional
5.  Take a pic and post it some where it the hashtag #fringetatdays #Tatting

Threader hoarder II

This is my collection of Karey Solomon size 10 threads.  As I'm looking at the pic I realize that I'm missing a bunch.  I'm still working on Renulek's 2016 spring napkin in size 10 (and 20) so I put a bunch of skeins with the doily.  The end result is that the pic is incomplete.

I'm inspired by Diane of the lace loving librarian blog to lay out all my hand dyed thread by Karey Solomon (KS).  I have a collection and can't seem to resist adding to it.   So I'm taking pictures in the hope that I won't get doubles this coming weekend at the Fringe tatdays.
This is a collection of my size 20 KS threads but not a complete collection because some are in use. 

First the t-shirt...

I've chosen my tatdays t-shirt.  Its from palmetto tatdays 2014 Tatting, Tea, and Toffee.  I may have hit a little glitch because all my tatting stuff is currently at the cottage.  I put it all there to protect the thread from impending drywall doom. 
Fortunately, I do have Renulek's 2016 spring napkin with me.  Yes, I'm still working away at it.  That's another story.

Pretend We're at Palmetto Tatdays

I'm not going to Palmetto tatdays this year....does anyone want to join me on Saturday for a "pretend I'm there session?"
This is what I suggest:
1. On Saturday wear one of your past tatday shirts (or designate a pretend tatday shirt if you have never attended)
2. Tat a pattern fron tatdays or one written by a past tatday teacher or an UFO from a tatting seminar.
If you are stuck you can look on my blog www.victats.blogspot.com or on Jane's site www.janeeborall.freeservers.com for a pattern.
3. Eat Chocolate
4. Take a picture...post it to your Facebook site with #palmettotatdays or...share it with me...
5. Repeat on Sept 22 for the Fringe tatdays...#fringetatdays

Post Canada Day Fun

I met up with Kelly Dunn on July 2nd to go to the Cobourg Waterfront Festival.  They have a huge artisan market there every year.  I don't remember how many years that Kelly and I have been going but its always fun.  This year we took the opportunity to pop into Artisanthropy now that it has a storefront.
I bought another clover bobbin shuttle and a shuttle case.  The sew mates fit into the clover shuttle cases so it will be filled pretty quick.  I have a lot of sew mates since I swapped my clover post shuttles for sew mates.
I also purchased some amazing hand dyed wool.  I officially off of buying any craft related stuff until the Fringe Element Seminar!

Happy 150th Canada!

In celebration of Canada's 150th I have a Maple Leaf pattern to share with you.  It is a Maple leaf made out of a series of triangle motifs.  I've give a couple different options for making it.  It is based of the Centennial Leaf and is originally a multicoloured leaf.  I will show a picture of the multicoloured leaf soon.  Hope you enjoy tatting it!
