Ice drop with tassel
I'm still making ice drops. I started to add tassels for fun. The best part about the ice drops is that even when you make mistakes they still turn out.
I tried making one of these the other day, but I think my glass things were to big and finally just gave up. What size thread are you using? I tried with a 20 and can't remember what the other one was. They are so pretty and I thought they would make a good little gift for the grown grandkids to put on there tree.
I used size 20 thread. I think the trick is to make the picots the right size...and to shove. It stretches a bit to fit. The last ring looks a little wrong as you close it but then evens out.
Oooh, I really like that!
ReplyDeleteGood idea to add a tassel!
ReplyDeleteI love the tassel! Why didn't I think of that? I may have to borrow your idea! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh I like this very fun looks a bit like the Chinese tastals. 🎄💟🎄

DeleteVery elegant! Pretty colors, with tassel 'wrap' matching the gem!
ReplyDeleteYes the tassel looks great.
